Having a family that understands

Transitional independent living program

Was created to provide a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for individuals and families navigating the in-between phase of rebuilding their lives. This program bridges the gap between crisis and long-term independence, offering stability, structure, and compassion every step of the way.

We offer two program tracks to meet each participant’s unique needs:

• A six-month program designed for individuals who are currently employed and working toward stable independence

• A twelve-month program for those seeking employment, education, or additional life-skills support

Participants are welcomed into fully furnished private homes with shared community living spaces that promote comfort, dignity, and connection. Accommodations include private rooms, shared rooms, and family-style rooms, along with shared bathrooms and kitchen areas. Residents are encouraged to enjoy common areas such as the living room, family space, and computer access for job searching, schooling, and personal growth.

The Jump for Joy Program is vital because it gives women the space to breathe, heal, and rebuild without worrying about their children’s safety. While mothers are in treatment, counseling, court appointments, or simply needing a mental health break, their children are cared for in a nurturing, joyful environment designed to restore peace and stability. This program removes one of the biggest barriers women face when seeking help — childcare — and replaces stress with support, hope, and trust. By protecting children and empowering mothers at the same time, Jump for Joy strengthens families, promotes healing, and creates a foundation for lasting independence and emotional wellness.
